Yup. Don't get me wrong, lots of people do actually write a solid novel in one month but.... I just can't manage lol.

Ah interesting... I didn't think of it that way. So it's basically just writing to write, not necessarily NOVELS persay. So next year I'll probably participate doing that as well because I have the attention span of a goldfish.

It's 50K into 30 days. The idea of it is to write a solid 50K novel but a lot of us.....just don't have the attention span to do it. So I write 50,000 new words in November, to several different works. Sometimes it's a couple one-shots, sometimes it's new words to old stories.. sometimes I even use role-play replies in the month of November. As long as it's NEW words, written THIS month, and it totals to 50K :)

I want to. It actually seems really fun. I'm just always swamped with school work and stuff whenever it rolls around. I plan to do it next year, especially if I get a good idea for a story. :) I actually don't know much about the event other than the fact that the goal is to write 50,000 word novels.

You should definitely do NaNoWriMo one year. :) This is my sixth doing it.
