thanks for all the feedback. i wanted people to have thier own opinions about things. realize that just because something is popular at the moment doesnt mean you have to like it too. be yourself. stop trying to fit in its not worth it.April 1st, 2007 at 09:14pm

Okay so, I listen to "emo" music -.-
[I fuggin hate labels]
I wear and own quite alot of black clothes.
I dont cut.
I may get a little depressed at times, but I have my reasons.
Still, people call me "emo".
But it's usually just the people who dont know me, or who dont know what "emo" means.
Im sick of it all too, but I just ignore it.
If they want to be foolish and do the whole label thing cause your different and what not, let them.
Im not letting it bother me anymore.

Yeah, you're right.
But "emo" isn't just a music style or fashion trend. Now, it's a label. And I hate it.
Ditto to the underground part!April 1st, 2007 at 09:00pm -
why does always music has to be so darn important ? okay you like that that and that, and that other guy likes something totally diferent. okay. get over it.
im 'emo' cuz i seem to be too depressed not to be 'emo'. but i dont care how you label me. or how you think i am. or how you want me to be. ill still be me, 'emo' label on my forhead or not.April 1st, 2007 at 08:31pm -
I am not emo.
I dress how I want.
I listen to the music I want.
I hate how people love labeling.
My music is my music.
I love what songs speak to me.
I don't have a lot of black clothes.
I don't hate life, in fact I love it.

people like labeling. plain and simple. its a way to make them feel better about themselves. trust me ive been called emo. and i certainly do not listen to any emo music or dress like anyone else. i finally had to write "emo sucks" on my backpack and bash the music completly. what i shoudve done is not cared what other people were calling me. i listen to what i like. i dress the way i like and i shouldnt let anyone get to me beacuse they feel the y need to stick a label on me.April 1st, 2007 at 07:55pm

Well, apperently, I'm 'emo' because of the music I listen to.
It sucks. I don't dress emo, I don't act emo, I don't cut.
I don't want to be emo, I want to be me.
And I listen to some music that isn't 'emo,' but I guess if you listen to one 'emo' band, you're automaticlly 'emo.'April 1st, 2007 at 07:50pm -
omg!!!! i sooooo believe you.... they think its all 'cool' to be emo..... then they go and moan and get peoples sympathy from it....... most emos arent like that... but the people who do..... make all the others sound bad....... im sorry too for saying that.... but hey we are becoming a 'label' that sounds bad.......and getting a bad reputation... dont be emo if you dont want to be moaned at.... simple!!!April 1st, 2007 at 07:46pm

well think of it this way 'would you rather the world be 'emo' or all 'chavs' . man i'd kill myself if everyone was a 'chav'.
sorry for all the labelling, i don't normally do it.April 1st, 2007 at 07:34pm -

Y'know, a lot of these 'emo' people don't realize...
that because its become a fashion trend..
They think they're not conforming, but they're still conforming to the emo trend!April 1st, 2007 at 07:30pm
My point is that look don't represent what's inside. I hate that labeling. I am me, I like myself the way I am. What the fuck someone need to label me. So that emo thing is just cuz of the look. I have an emo hairstyle but don't cut wrists, don't cry. In matter of fact I make other kids cry. So stop labeling.
And yes, I got annoyed with that emo thing. Looks like every1 become emo, just cuz it's popular now. C'mon. Just be urself.
