Hello. Unfortunately, I also encountered your problem and already found out that webcams, both external and built-in often do not work properly in Windows 10. For example, when you try to use the webcam on your computer, you may receive an error like it was ow me. But I found an article https://www.auslogics.com/en/articles/fix-integrated-built-in-webcam-in-windows-10/ thanks to which I was able to fix the errors and be able to use the webcam.

Windows is the operating system of Microsoft Corporation. Windows is used on personal computers, as well as on servers, such as those in the Internet and other large organisations. The internet has exploded with tips and tricks for Windows 9.It is the most popular operating system in the world, and it is also the most used by consumers. If you want to know about windows, you have to check https://broadapk.com/wwe-2k/ to get more information about this topic. Windows can have a variety of different applications, but some of them are basic, such as the calculator and word processor. Other programs can be very useful, such as games and office suites.

I actually did the exact same thing - bought a new laptop without realising it would come pre-installed with Windows 8. And when I first saw it, I wanted to scream. What was this nightmare I'd gotten myself into? Where was my pretty, simply start-up menu?

That being said, I've had my new laptop for about a month now and I've basically got Windows 8 figured out. (At least, as much as I need to have it figured out.)

If you click on the window in the bottom left corner, it takes you to your evil SquareIcons! screen. Down the bottom on the left of this, there is an arrow - which will take you to what used to be the programs menu! (You've probably already figured this out.)

From there I just pinned all my important programs either to the Start menu (ew) or the taskbar, so I never have to look at that new, irritating programs menu. >.<

Best of luck getting used to Windows 8! I hear that Windows 9 will be taking things back to the way they used to be.

Yeeeaah... Windows 8. No. Just no, lol.

That was basically my reaction upon seeing it when it first came out and it still is now. I hate those silly squares with a passion. The Start up menu on Windows 7 seems so much simpler and now, in saying that, it makes me feel like an old person the way they complain about some new technology and not being able to figure it out and why the older version was so. much. better. XD

Windows 8 scares me. It's so different. I don't know that I'll ever upgrade now haha
And I remember floppy disks. I have a dos emulator to play the games we had on floppy... like Lemmings and Alone in the Dark (the 1993 version was the best imo)

I'm so used to Windows 8 by now that using 7 or XP feels alien and hard to control. XD
Personally I prefer the way 8 looks and how it operates, but I miss the old startmenu and navigation quite a bit.

I can't remember which windows it was, but one of them was released but it had heaps of bugs and stuff. I'll ask my boyfriend when he gets up - He's a computer geek.
