Agreed. Our government has been corrupt for so long. America is suppose to be the land of the free but for a lot of folks here, it's anything but that. The so called "freedom" is limited by so many factors. Smh. It's really troubling and sometimes frightening. I'm sure every country has it's problems but the ammount of injustice here overall is appalling.

I mean Jesus. Did you see those pictures of the parts of the world that were having protests? It is too damn crazy, and it looks like everyone is waking up. I'm not too sure I dig the whole "anarchy" thing, but I definitely like that us civilians are finally having enough of it, and are demanding a better government.

Yeah. Thanks! I'm not angry at anyone anymore. There's enough going on in my personal life to stress me for that. I just hope that some type of positive progress for those out there in the world who need it is made.

Bruh...I mean there's a limit to what one can say about that. Of course everyone will feel bad, and it doesn't matter your race/ethnicity.

That's the one big ass issue with this debate on race. If there's a white/Caucasian who is our ally and is all for what we stand for too, then that's cool. We dig that kind of thing, and will have your backs as much as you have ours.

I'm so sorry that that happened to you, but do know that--just like not all white people--well not all PoC.

So unfortunate that tempers are flaring so bad right now, and if you come under any fire from me, know that I don't think any less of you--may not know you personally--but I know you're a hella nice lady.

It's okay. Like I said, I felt better after writing the blog because it helped me purge my troubled thoughts.

Also, I don't mean to come across like on the defensive but sadly for some reason, my entire life I've been that way about a lot of things. It's just in my personality and I'm sure my paranoia that people are always out to get me is a result of how I was raised.

The biggest issue I had this week at all was when I posted a blog the other day talking about how I felt the need to remember the Native Americans because yes, I am white but my not so distant family were full blooded Cherokee. I also stated that even if I wasn't related, I would still take time to honor and remember all the mass slaughter of Native Americans and their loss.

Someone commented and basically told me I had no right to feel bad for them because I'm white......

I deleted the blog because I was frustrated but it's things like that that get to me.

The internet is tone deaf I'm afraid so any malice on either side wasn't intended (I'm assuming on your end, and assuming is never a good thing).

No one said you offended anyone, I was genuinely curious. There is no debate to be had in this moment either.

If I feel discriminated against strongly enough, I will go to the staff. I don't mean that rudely at all. Just saying. This is an open blog of my feelings which doesn't entirely and is not limited to only the debates going on here this week.

This is in regards in general to anyone pushing hate my way in the future if it happen to be on here or in real life. Like the title stated, just my personal thoughts put out in the open to try to cope with my feelings. Honestly I feel better and I see nothing in my blog to offend anyone because honestly, it wasn't directed to anyone specific or any one race. Just any discrimination that may ever arise. Hope you have a decent rest of the day.

I've seen responses to your comments, I've responded to some of yours. I haven't seen anyone go all out enough to make you write the first portion of your blog.

But I'm not always where you are, and really you can tell any staff members and we'll gladly see to it.

I never post my opinion, because I don't handle confrontation that well. Well, I can.. I just get a bit heated, and I would start to hate whoever debated with me. Which wouldn't be fair. All I have to say is just.. if you can't handle strong opinions, don't post your opinion. I don't blame anybody being angry if you don't agree with their views, because... well it has to do with murder, and racism.

And I do agree with the last bit of your comment. You can't force your beliefs down another's throat. Like, I believe in God, and atheists don't. Which I don't understand, because I like the idea of a loved one being somewhere safe, and happy in the afterlife.

You described exactly how I feel. Also, my blog was not even just centered to this whole Ferguson issue because I've kept my mouth pretty quiet publicly about it.

My blog was to state that I will not stand for any discrimination of any kind in any given situation that may arise in this world. If people want to take what I've said here however they want, that's fine and up to them.

Some of the stuff that's been said has been pretty bad. Then again, it depends how sensitive you are and how insensitive others are ya'know?
I know of one person who's had to leave because of all this so far, and another who's not so great emotionally atm. It would just be nice if people didnt try change everybody's views and tell them what they are and arent ya'know? Its kinda like a gay person coming out, and their parents screaming "NO YOUR NOT GAY".

No, I was just curious if people have attacked you and said not to state your opinion? Like I mentioned in another blog, this is Mibba... a writing community. There is going to be a debate, and if the topic is as sensitive as Ferguson, people are going to have different and strong opinions. Just ready yourself, I guess. I just think it's ridiculous that you have to make a blog to let yourself and other people that it's OK to have opinions.
