Oh man, I totally feel you on this. Fall Out Boy is my safety blanket, my comfort food, everything. When I was in high school, they helped me get through the toughest times. I always felt like even though I was pretty much alone, I was never truly alone, 'cause I had them, you know? And like even now- they're still my go to when I feel like alone or upset. They just. Ahh. FOB.

They just seem to speak more when you're sad right? Any time is a great time to listen to them, but I know what you mean when you only listen to them when you're sad. They get you through the tough shit, I understand completely.

I listened to Fall Out Boy since I was a kid, thanks to my sister. And they got me through the worst of 2013, since it was one of the worst years of my life. Pete kind of, sorta, set an example for me on how to be fucked up yet get through everything life puts in front of me. He's my favorite modern writer and his lyrics get me every time.

"The best ay to make it through with hearts and wrists intact is to realize two out of three ain't bad."

When I went to see them live last year, with my best friend, it was the greatest day of my life. I got to give them a letter and shake Pete's hand and it was great. They're a great band, so don't let your mom tell you how to feel about them.

Totally, I got into fob from my dad. He came to this country not knowing any english and he listened to rock music to understand it, which still makes me giggle when i think about it. When he died, i listened to nothing but fob for almost 3 months straight. They helped me tremendously.
