    Aw, thanks! I'm sure you'll do great too; Giovanni has lots of really great content, although five pages sure is a lot. Yeah, I can't decide if I'd rather read Prufrock as this sort of tragic hero facing the inevitability of death, or this existential asshole. Unsure

    The title to this blog is so dead on! I have a literary research paper due soon (it's like me to not even remember the date it's due) but I'm analyzing 4 works by the amazing Nikki Giovanni for minimum 5 pages, which will be .... interesting. I've read the Prufrock poem and honestly, the first time through it messed with my head and the second and third time, it still messed with my head. But the underlying themes of death and the repetition of some specific phrases/lines really make it an interesting, if incredibly long, poem. I'm sure you'll ace it since I was able to scrape by on it! I'm planning on being an English major next year and I probably will suffer your same dilemma soon lol.
