The people who experience stuff like this and are able to still keep on moving and are determined to reach their success/goals in life are strong. Don't doubt that. It's all contributing to the person you were "meant" to be, so to speak, and nobody can take your true self away from you. Nobody can, not even friends or lovers or family. The true self is solely yours.
