I was in a sorority my freshman year of college but only did the one year. It was such a big time commitment and I couldn't do that with school and the other things I had going on. It was a lot of fun and I made some really great friends! It was a great way to get closer to some people I probably wouldn't have met otherwise. I just couldn't handle all the requirements. We had to do 100 hours of volunteer work every semester, we had chapter every single Sunday, it seemed like there was some event or another every weekend and it just got to be too much with my job and everything. It was a great experience though!
