That's really comforting to know, thanks! I was just having a chat with somebody who just finished uni recently and she recommended also getting out there, joining clubs etc.
I think it will be fun to find others with mutual interests.

Just seeing others with a hangover makes me want to stay away to be honest!
I can understand why you enjoy it from just a bit of past experience: accidentally ordered myself a spiked hot chocolate on my first evening in Canada.
Smart cookie me. lmfao It obviously wasn't a great deal of alcohol (I think it had Smirnoff and Schnapps in it) but even so I gave it a try and it made me feel so care-free. It was a nice feeling. I didn't even feel embarrassed about ordering something I didn't 100% intend to! It was funny.

That's pretty neat. Ah yeah when it comes to dealing with figures and money my brain fries a little each time.mrgun
An airport seems quite way out but I suppose thinking about it there's plenty of possibility to be situated near one.
I really wanted to gain some work experience in the animal import/export section of Heathrow for my college work experience a few years ago but sadly they were either full or not accepting. A big place to work!

Thanks, it was an amazing time and I would recommend it to anybody!!
Im not sure its confidence I have as such but I believe in myself so its more of self-belief, Im only really confident in some of the things I do in life sadly.

I go to Uni and trust me you will have an incredible time regardless of whether you drink or not, there will be other people in the same boat as you, but for the first couple of weeks you kinda have to force yourself to talk to people even if its a hello, youll soon make friends.

You wont become addicted to drink, its not an addictive thing, a hangover will scare you away from drink for a good few days and even then its hard to start again, unlike most people though I enjoy a drink, I drink most night because it calms me down but I only really get shitfaced whenever Im out with friends which when Im home like I am now isnt often at all.

I work for a currency exchange company in an airport, its crap, but its a job and its only part time to go alongside my studies so thank god.

Glad you had a fantastic time!
Sorry if this sounds weird but you just remind me of my brother so much. XD
He's off to Aiya Napa soon to get fudge-faced every day and I'm certain he'll drink himself to the point of a horrid hangover too.

I really admire the confidence you both have; it really made me feel uplifted when you mentioned about just letting yourself loose sometimes and enjoying life.
I want to do this when I start uni but I'm not sure of how exactly I will because I don't drink. Think

I see nothing wrong with drinking (inexcessively) but I know I'd become addicted to it if I started so that's why I stay away.
Basically I don't think I should rely on drink (or drugs, though I wish we could buy certain meds over the counter here) to boost my confidence, but what other ways are there?
    I'm not sure.

Can't remember if I ever asked before, but where do you work?
Like what kind of company, just out of interest?

Congrats on your exam results! Dance
