I suppose that's true. Either way it's got me really bummed out.

They shouldn't expect expensive gifts. And if they do then they don't deserve them. I try to go all out for gifts. But some years everyone just gets snowflakes made out of Popsicle sticks. You can only do so much sometimes.

I'm not even creative enough to make people gifts. Though I'm sure they wouldn't be as appreciated at this point since everyone is used to such expensive gifts from me..

I always relate to your posts. I'm in a similar situation. Like, why is life so damn costly? I usually make gifts for people when money is tight, but that's also really time consuming. No one seems to understand how difficult it is for people our age to make it.
