I thought my hen was going to die a couple of months ago. She stopped laying suddenly, and all sorts of odd things were coming out her butt, and she did that typical little fluffy chicken stance where they just look like they're dying... Next morning she was the first out of the coop to get the dog's breakfast scraps ;) I'm pretty sure she's an internal layer and maybe it'll kill her one day but for now she seems fit as anything. Her sister died of sour crop. It's awful sad to lose them :(
