My family and me are a big christmas eve bunch. We go to church (the family service with the little kids doing a play and such) after we go home to eat a simple meal and out out all the lights. We have real candles in our christmas tree which we lit. That with a multitude of candles in the room and the fire place we keep the TV off for a few hours. Drinking hot choco/coffee or mulled wine we just appreciate it all and talk like we dont do as much on other days.
Favorite part is all the lights in the gardens and just being with family.
Least: cleaning up after haha!

Traditions... hmmm... I guess one tradition that we started when Shelby was born is that she gets a Christmas eve box... it has a Christmas film in it, snacks, a pair of Christmas pyjamas and a drink. except this year I totally forgot to put it together
Favourite part would be watching Shelby open her presents and just being with my little family, then going to see my mum on Boxing Day.
Least favourite... the stress is causes, especially when you go shopping and it's packed and people are just rude... I hate shopping as a whole whether it is Chrstamas or not, but it's definitely worse at Christmas time.
