I feel th same way, but recently I've realized and accepted that it's okay. I think that a lot of the time the plots we come up with have something to do with working something out in our own lives. It's something we have to relive again and again for whatever reason. Kind of like dreams. But the thing is, others probably don't noticed it. It's just that our subconscious knows the reasoning behind it and can therefore detect it in our stories. But in my eyes, if for some reason I keep writing the same kind of thing over and over, there's a reason for it and I should let myself get it out.
