Omg yes, it's nice to know I'm not the only one experiencing basically like a quarter-life crisis lol. But my heart goes out to you Cry I wish you the best of luck with finding a good job in your field!

    @ cleopatra.
No way dude :O I hope you do well in those 2 classes despite feeling so overwhelmed. I know exactly how you feel, it's crazy how we're so young and we already feel so much pressure like this. Good luck with your essay btw! If you need help with it for ideas or anything, let me know. I've got some time on my hands haha. Aside from anxiety, depression is by far one of the most damning things a person can experience - I'm sorry you feel this way :/ Thank you so much for your kind words and same to you, if you ever need to vent/rant, please feel free to send me a PM and write away!!! Arms

Omg right? I'm sad that I'm no longer a teenager tbh. It's crazy how we've been kids our whole lives then suddenly, when we turn 20/21, we're expected to just know how to be an adult? Like no...that's something that's gonna take a long ass time to get used to lol. Don't worry about standing out too much at a university, most ppl are too preoccupied with themselves and their own self-consciousness to even notice other ppl's self-consciousness haha. I hope you do well in school and good luck with everything! If you need any advice/support let me know Hug

    @ dawn of light

I turn 20 in June and will start university in September. My first attempt ended up with me having to drop out. I still feel like a kid - completely unprepared. I can barely speak on the phone, let alone socialise, and school did not prepare me for university and beyond.

I don't want to turn 20 because then I'll officially be out of my teens and into that scary age of adult, especially as I'm starting university again at the age of 20 and I just feel as if I'll stand out (which is ridiculous, I know), despite still looking 12.

    Definitely can't adult.

i feel you on this. i turned twenty a month ago almost & apparently you're supposed to be adulting from the time you graduate from high school which is something i've totally failed in. i just got serious about college & im taking two classes bc im a wimp & i seriously die under pressure (dying rn & all i have to do is write an essay) so my anxiety & depression are really bad. on top of that, i work for my dad's company but he wants me to find a job elsewhere so i can "experience" (as if being the office manager of a business isn't experience enough) but im kind of shocked im not dead yet.

GOOD LUCK W/ EVERYTHING & IF YOU NEED TO VENT, I AM HERE.

I'm going to be 25 in September and I still don't feel like an adult. I just graduated college and I'm looking for a job in my field and it's scary. I still have major anxiety talking on the phone to people other than family and friends. High School and College didn't prepare me enough for the real world.

    I hate adult-ing. It sucks.
