Same. I just have stopped caring, though. It's hard but I really don't give a shit. Like it's literally no one's business. When I feel like shaving, I will. If not, then people can deal with looking at my hairiness. The last guy I dated literally touched my arm and was like "what's this?" About my arm hair. I find it unattractive when men are preoccupied with how hairy I am. Like if you don't think I'm attractive enough to ignore that futile shit, then I don't want to be with you. If you're so worried about hair you're obviously not in love with me, you obviously are more worried about having some porn fantasy than like having relations with a real person...

Sorry, this was kind of a rant but I've just been given so much shit over being hairy my whole life, and I just think it's sooo dumb. Like why do people even spend time thinking about it??

I personally hate how there's this stigma that you have to shave your arms and legs if you're a female. It's ridiculous and, honestly, I don't have time for it. If people don't like my hairy arms and legs, they can get over themselves. Don't let it get you down too much!Arms

I get this very problem. My hair, all hair, is jet black. I have a lot of it on my head, and I have a lot of it elsewhere, too! Arms, legs, stomach, knuckles, feet, upper lip, chin, everywhere! My eyebrows are also really thick and bushy. I am literally a freaking mammoth. However.

There's a beauty standard where people think that women that don't shave are unhygienic and don't care about their appearance, but you know what I say to that? Fuck it. Humans have hair for a reason, and if you don't want to sweetheart, then don't shave! You know what works for you? Being comfortable works. For everyone. Shaving isn't only time consuming, it can be a long and uncomfortable process. And it takes a lot of courage to just raise your finger in the air and say screw it. This comment is long already, so I'm going to wrap this up by saying: You're perfectly fine as you are. Anyone who says otherwise needs to get a grip.

I do too. It can get to you but honestly, after a while I just don't pay attention. Beside, the hair protects your arm from the sun. Whenever you're self-conscious of the hair, just remember that. They have a purpose so don't care about people staring.

Please don't shave your arms. My friend did that once when we were 13 and it's horrible. OMG NO! I have hairy arms. Dark hair too. My eyebrows, if I don't pluck them, extend up into my hairline. I have a lot of hair too, including in places I try to pretend I don't - and when I shave, I have darks skin patches on my underarms and my hair grows prickly in about 24 hours. It sucks. It's annoying. I hate it. I shave my legs because I hate the feel of prickly hair rubbing on my clothes.

But it's okay to not shave. You don't have to. Even if that's what others do its your body, most people won't shame you for not shaving. Being hairy if you want - there's nothing unnatural about that.
