It is Half the time I'll think: "Okay, I got it this time!" But then I'll come back later to your message and be like "Damn it all! Failed the mission again!" lol But I'll certainly check out that site, thank you!

This, so much. Especially the favouritism part. People only say that when their friends have been banned or warned and have told a one-sided account of what happened. It's always "I know what happened and it was so unfair that my friend got banned but the other user didn't" and it's just like, you accuse us of favouritism but the fact that it's your friend that got banned is clouding your judgement. Mibba Staff is always unfair when it's a user's friend but never when it someone that user doesn't talk to or know.

Well, yes, I think rebels play an important role in the society as well, especially since they're usually the ones that aren't afraid to voice their opinions especially when the authority are abusing their power. However, there are lines to be drawn in this matter. Between expressing opinions and being downright rude about it.

Lol well they sure as hell didn't like mine haha. It was a Green Day/MCR fanfic posted on a Green Day site and they were highly opposed to slash between Billie Joe and Gerard lol. I still wrote it though

Most people are really awesome to me or ignore my messages. I rarely ever get people all up in arms about it nowadays.

I think rebels in society need to exist, to question the way things are. It helps create a better way of working with everyone instead of repressing people.

I'm lucky that ever since I've been a staff, I'd never encountered rude members per se but I'm still a baby when it comes to moderating the story section as compared to Kimi and Victoria so... I'm dreading the day I get hostile messages.

And you are right, some people don't understand that the staff are humans too. And we do it for free in our free time. I guess it's like ingrained in human's brain to disagree with authority... well... some of them, anyway? That's why we have rebels, you know?

I've been a member of sites that had heavy favouritism. I remember being bashed by the admin of a fan fiction site once because of what I was writing (romance) Like, what then?

Thank you :) It doesn't require an apology. Title capitalisation is hard, OMG, so hard. There are so many contradicting rules and it constantly gives me a headache. I only get it right 99% of the time now because I've corrected like, half of Mibba haha. You can use this website to help you capitalise titles. Mibba prefers the first option there but all three are okay (though as we've all been using option 1 exclusively for ages now, using option 3 may still get a title corrected here and there as we remember that it's okay now to capitalise like that)

I honestly think people on a lot of sites need to step back and remember that admins and staff members on any website like Mibba are all human beings trying to balance their online lives with their real lives. but there are sites that have the favoritism thing but Mibba's not one of them. Again thank you for posting this, Rachael.
