No need to apologize, it's healthy to let feelings out. That sucks that the restaurant wasn't as good as hoped, but I'm at least glad nobody said anything to you (I'd beat 'em up if they did, except I wouldn't because they are your family, but still).

1. How are you? I am good. VERY ready for bed, but Don's bringing me home chicken strips to have with some egg salad so I'll probably be eating that first.
2. Favorite fruit? Probably bananas, definitely not pears. Which is sad, because one of my favorite movies has this really awesome quote about pears so I always wished I'd like them, but then I tried them a couple times and I didn't :(
3. Best dining experience? The best? Hm... That's a tough one, I haven't ever really had an extraordinary dining experience. Good, but not amazing.
4. (This is me being incredibly insecure but...) Do I ever come across as pretentious? (I feel very pretentious sometimes...) I had to look up what that word means because I don't hear it very often, but no, I wouldn't say you are. Definitely not.
5. Plans for the night? Food and sleep. Lol.

aw, that's sweet of your mom. my parents are hardcore conservative muslim's but i can't blame them for the way they think, it just makes it ten times more harder for future purposes.

LMAO, guava's are so good. i doubt you'd be allergic. they're tropical fruits & i remember the first time i had one was outside my grandma's condo where this one couple had a guava tree. you best bet i'd be stealing them every time w/o asking. yea, i was one of your delinquent kids. stealing fruits & shit and i do have a ton of stories to tell you don't i? no worries, im updating a blog currently of all my mishaps from last week lol.

I'm sorry dear. I can only imagine how difficult that is. I don't talk to my father anymore, but he's gay. And my mom straight up told me like a year ago that if I was a lesbian that that's okay and she loves me no matter what. She still tells me she loves me no matter what, so I think I kind of lucked out.

im glad things went relatively okay. i know how awkward that must've been, but it's good that no one said anything or made you feel upset. i didn't come out to my parents that im pansexual (or that i find myself more attracted to girls bc im scared of men), but it's obvious when they talk about how disgusting gay's, lesbian's or anyone within the lgbt community is, it gets on my nerves & hits a soft spot -.- if only they were a bit more open to the discussion. sigh.
