@ balani i totally get what you mean. it's also about your report and you attitude when public speaking. but in my college they're not as strict, and i find that if i add designs, my classmates listen and watch more attentively
I've never been into Powerpoint Designing. I mean, it was a fad in high school but now that I'm in college, simple, minimalistic themes are better, imo, than having flashy themes. My professors don't really allow those kinds of presentations since my college adheres to this notion that we shouldn't rely on our ppt to report something. Like the ppt isn't even included in the criteria. I really think that while eye-catching, gorgeous themes are great, what matters best is the delivery of the report. The ppt doesn't even need to contain that much info -- just keywords and phrases. But to each to their own!
