I joined in 2009, but it definitely seems like it's been much longer than that. Like your title says, I definitely feel like I've "grown up Mibbian". My writing has really come a long way since I was 13.
@ dawn of light I always delete my stories when I'm too embarrassed of them. I remember this really bad Niall Horan fan fiction when I was 17 and it was basically them f-cking all around Ireland and it was just so horrible I couldn't keep it
@ cleopatra. I feel like maybe we all started with the emo kid or at least, the punk rock kid. I know that there were mainly only all time low/fall out boy/ PANIC! At the Disco types of fan-fiction on here when I joined and now I see a lot of One Direction (which I totally am still obsessed with).
i joined mibba when i was in the seventh grade so nine years ago?? i was part of the great quizilla migration & was also a depressed kid escaping her time out here in the real world to write & meet amazing people. but like losing control i did a lot of "emo people" based stories which were just heinous oh my god. guess we all started somewhere.
@ losing control. Me too! I remember writing about girls with black hair and different colored streaks through it and my go to description of a guy was "he was wearing a band shirt." BAHAHAHAHAHA
I joined November 27, 2009, after I moved over from Quizilla. I started out writing really horrible original fiction about "emo" people. I like to think I've improved since then
@ Bellamy. Haha, I found out about Mibba through Quizilla too. That's a problem of mine with fanfiction, I don't feel like I can write a real life person accurately to their character, and if I want to change their character I might as well not write fanfiction :/ I don't know if that makes sense but yeah
@ Mogar I know! I feel like it was just yesterday I found a link to Mibba from Quizilla. Lol. I had even been writing on there at one point. I dabble in fan-fiction when I become super obsessed like I am with Dylan O'brien haha but I can't really write a full on story because he's not my character, he's an actual person.
