glad to hear you had fun ar warped!! i wish i could've gone this hear, but alas. (where is my dramatic fainting emoticon mibba let's go) who all did you get to see? Cute

i've seen some crown the empire fics in passing, though i can't remember if it was here? i know there are quite a few on tumblr and wattpad, and probably for other bands i haven't often seen fics for (like real friends, for example, is pretty prominent on wattpad, i believe?) i, personally, don't think fanfiction's going anywhere any time soon, especially now that people see you can get a lucky break from it if it gets popular enough. i still write fanfiction myself, though the only actual band i've written it for lately is 1d and some 5sos in my drafts, while my other fics are focused more on non-banders. i do write fics for other bands when i'm doing cowrites with my friends, but not as often at the moment.

that was one big ramble, i'm sorry! lmfao i think my point that i intended to make (and just didn't, like a doof) is that i don't see fanfic going anywhere for a long while, even if mibba bounces in and out of activity for it here and there, because with every new band or movie or show or thing there's gonna be at least a few people willing to band together and craft something good for it. tehe

I was an avid fanfiction writer back in the day, and while I'm still finishing one or two up, they're remnants from when fanfiction was huge. I think fanfiction writers have gotten older and made the switch to original, because there's no where you can go with FF. Personally, I'm trying to become a published author someday and while writing fanfiction made me a better writer because of all the practice it gave me, there's no where you can go with fanfiction.

I've evolved into originals and more complex genres because 1. it's what I'm interested in now and 2. it can go further.
