Thank you and so can you! Oh god I hate it when that happens. I remember when my aunt's youngest went to a soft ball game (I kinda had to go to) and her team won and that ruined my writing streak since i was distracted. Don't worry, try putting on your music and whatever else inspires you and just write something random buy still related to the story. It should help you get back in the groove.

Yeah, I'm pretty much the same way with school right now. It comes first, unfortunately, so if I can find the time to write, I will.

You can do it! If I can stay motivated to write everyday, I can definitely hit 50,000. It's just deciding what to write and staying focused. I was really in a zone tonight but the Cubs just won the World Series and I live right outside Chicago, so it's pretty crazy here right now.

I'm not a Cubs fan, so I'm kinda mad that they pulled me out of my writing focus!

Hi! Tbh I participate every year to try completing a story and/or reach 50k. The past few years I've either lost motivation in the middle or I didn't reach the goal. But this year I'm confident about at least finishing a story.

woo, i managed to write 700 words in the past 10 minutes. Probably all i'm gonna get done for tonight. But it's a start. and I'm happy.

I thought about participating but I was late getting my goodie bags done this year and I lost the motivation to do it with my Christmas present give away thing coming up towards the middle-end of November. I'm just trying to stay on top of things while staying active on Mibba at the moment.

Well i'm going to start fresh tomorrow! I have a cowrite to work on, so I'm gonna start from there and figure it out.

I understand! That's tough. It always sucks when you fall into a writing funk when you actually want to write, but just can't make yourself do it or get into the write frame of mind! Hopefully you pull out of it soon.

If you don't start in the next few days, it's not too late. Just try to go for it as soon as you can!

I actually have a story idea and I have no problems with the idea. I have an outline and everything. but i just have no motivation to write. I've been in a weird mood the past two days. It's really not the time to be in a writing funk.

This is the idea I currently have. But I'm on the fence of posting it on Mibba.

I kinda just browsed around on their website and added my word count so I think I'm just going to count any writing I do for my stories.

Are you trying to come up with a whole new story idea? That's so hard to do right on the spot. You could always just continue with something you're already writing and try to hit 50,000.

I'm trying to do it but these past 2 days i've basically written nothing so I'm not sure where I stand anymore. If I don't come up with anything within the next week or so, I'm probably not gonna bother doing it anymore.
