I'm glad you're ignoring all the hate he's getting because whatever he did in the past is in that, in the past. I'm sure your friend will realize this in due time. If not then well, let her keep thinking what she wants. Some people aren't worth fighting with.

Exactly! people just make everything such a big deal when it's not. Don't dig up something that's 15 years old. Give me a break. What he did doesn't bother me. i don't mind. I just look forward to the future and that's that.

That sounds like something a lot of my high school friends said about my exboyfriend, they were telling me he was weird but it was cute that i was his girlfriend (they acted like i was pitying him... he was sort of reclusive). TBh, unless someone intentionally murdered someone or raped someone, I wouldn't care about their past.

so many people hold grudges. It's so sad. They miss out on some pretty interesting people!!

that's what i'm saying! I'm not gonna judge someone based on their past. He's a great guy, I just wish people would stop holding grudges for something that happened years ago. It's pathetic. Like I get it shes just watching out for me but some of it really isnt her business.

We sometimes forget that we have all done terrible things in our past and still have flaws to this day. Doesn't make anyone a bad person. Doesn't make him bad either

hell yes! I always tell him everything too which is why I told him what my friend said. He's a great guy even if other people don't think so.
