That sounds like an amazing Halloween, if I'm honest. I can't imagine why no one would show up to a "spooky fish" lecture, it honestly sounds like a blast. I'll sign you up for some candy corn, young lady!

My favourite Halloween that I remember was last year. Two friends and myself dressed up and were meant to go to a guest lecture on "spooky fish" but we were the only ones who showed up so it was cancelled. We then went out drinking and partying, and I got the drunkest I've ever been in my life. We spent the rest of the night after we got home watching A Very Potter Musical and eating takeaway. An all round incredible night.

Could I have a Candy Corn please? I'd love a ficmix for Thin White Lines and a comment on Garden of Souls if you're okay with doing that :)

Of course! I only remember one Halloween spent trick or treating with my little brother, but I remember a couple of years when our older brother took me out on Halloween. He had to because the older kids in the neighborhood scared me if I went out with anyone else. He beat them up if they tried.

My favorite Halloween that I remember was when I was a kid and was trick or treating with my brother - I think it was the last year we did it together and yeah.

Could I get a candy apple on this story and as for the poem... maybe this one?

You forgot to tell me what your favorite part of Halloween is! But I'll still give you your treat! A ficmix is, from what I can gather, a playlist to accompany a story. Whichever story you want, I'll make a ficmix for it. I'll add you to the list for a Reese's.

Oooh, what's a ficmix? I'll do a Reese's Cup! But I don't have any poems so you can just skip that part. For the stories/ficmixes can I have it on Dark Times and Every Rose Has Its Thorn and then the other comment on Reaching for White.

Trick or treat! I think my favorite Halloween was not this last year, but the year before last. It was the last year I lived in my childhood home, and I went to my aunt's house for a haunted house they did. It was superb. Honestly the best one they have ever done. There was so many people and I went trick or treating. It was just nice to be there in my community surrounded by family and friends as one of my last holiday memories of the city. May I please get a Candy Apple? (Tbh I really want one like irl lol) Please please stop by my candy bowl!

Those both sound like awesome Halloween memories. I haven't seen Silent Hill, but that looks like it took a lot of time to prepare for your costume, and I'm sure it was great! I too have memories of being chased at Halloween events with friends, and look back on them fondly now even though I was literally terrified.

Ooh I have two favorites lol I think my favorite Halloween was 2015, when I became addicted with Silent Hill, and constructed a huge Pyramid Head mask and wore it to this walk-through Halloween attraction at the local zoo, and I remember one of the volunteers working the kid's section (he was dressed up as Sully from Monsters Inc. lol) pointing at it and shouting "Dude! Dude! Silent Hill! Pyramid thing!" haha it's always awesome to meet a fellow fan who gets the reference
my other favorite memory would be going through the 'scary section' at the same walk through attraction in 2012 with my older sister and her boyfriend, and being chased by guys with chainsaws and screaming so much we went home with sore throats lol it wasn't fun at the time but it's a very fond memory now!

That sounds so sweet. I don't have kids, but my boyfriend and I are planning on taking his 3 year old nephew out this year and to be honest, I'm pretty excited about it! I'll put you down for a Reese's.

I love Halloweens like that, though I have to say I've never been camping in October because it's always been too cold wherever I'm living at the time. Dressing as zombies with your husband sounds rad, though. ::yay: I'll add you to the list for some candy corn and I'd be happy to do a ficmix for the story you chose!

No, we never stayed at the hospital because the owner actually did have security cams on most of the places you could have gotten in (not because of thrill seekers, but rather we lived in a town with a bunch of jerks that would vandalize the place. ) The owner was more than willing to let people stay the night and do hunts there, but minors needed parental permission and neither of our sets of parents were willing to sign off on it. We did see lights go on and off (electricity had loooooong since been cut off to the building) and we saw shadow people in the morgue area (we did get a few blurry photos on her film camera.) We both also heard hospital-y sounds and stuff through the broken windows, like gurneys rolling across tile floor and beeping and flatline sounds, etc.

Trick or treat. My fav is the first time i took my nephew trick or treating. He dressed as a minion and had fun. Can i get a Candy Apple

Oh, and as for Halloween memories, man, I just have so many good ones! It's honestly hard to pick! I guess if I had to pick one it would be Halloween of, I believe, 2013? I went camping with a bunch of family, and the campground was doing a Halloween thing. My husband and I dressed up as zombies and tried (and mostly failed) to scare children. We put a lot of effort into our zombie make-up and the weather was beautiful, if a bit cold, and it was just such a great time, one of my fondest memories.

I haven't been ghost hunting, but I'd really like to! There are quite a few haunted places around where I live, so I'll have to try that out with friends. Did you guys ever stay the night at the haunted hospital.

That sounds like a blast! I always loved spending Halloween with my best friends. In high school, we used to walk up to the haunted hospital in our town and "ghost hunt."

That's hilarious! I don't think I ever whacked a friend with a broom on Halloween. I did ditch a friend while we were trick or treating once, though.
