Thank you so such for the very thoughtful response.

If taken properly there should be no issue, my friend takes it because she's tired all the time and it helps her focus. My boyfriend takes it because of his depression and it helps him, but when he doesn't take it. We are pretty much in for a shit show of emotions for two weeks. Don't worry about your ex, if you feel it will help you then try. If it doesn't then stop it.

Yes, like Hina said, just do a trail run! The doctor should check in on you and be able to see if you are experiencing some negative side effects when you go for your next check up. And if you can, maybe get someone who you trust to check on you too!

I agree with Hina! At least giving it a try will answer the questions you have

It might be good to do a trial basis of the medicine/drug to see if it helps any and if it doesn't you can go back to the doctor for help. At least that's what I feel anyway
