Writer's Block - Comments

I didn't think that at all, everyone has strengths and you have an excellent idea of a plot, those don't come to me very often. The minute you begin to call yourself a writer and practice you're already getting better. Good luck :)

Thanks, might need to go back to the drawing board and flesh out my characters a little bit more, as you can probably tell I'm not much of a writer haha

Maybe building your character more could help you find where her personality would take her. I found a character building template that has helped me a lot in the past so maybe it will for you too, here it is:

Feet: Undebatable facts about the character/physical characteristics

Groin: Needs of the character, ultimate desire (can be metaphorical or physical)

Heart: Also a need, but to become a better person, not every character has this

Throat: Presentation of the character, How are they seen by other characters?

Right Brain: Ethics, artistic or emotional side of the character

Left Brain: Logic, methods or reasoning of the character

Crown: Who are they in general?

(note: a good writer knows all of this, but won't necessarily use it. Use this as a reference of your character when you're not sure how they are supposed to react or act towards fellow characters)

I can’t think of anything for the first part, but for the second part maybe she does something where she has to help others or a complete drop where she has to move back home and work for her dad’s fast food chain or bank or something (which might help her come out of being shallow and materialistic or humble her).
