    Of course you may!

And yeah, I think that's what it was. After stepping away from it and trying to just get into my own groove, things went well and I was even able to finish typing out the chapter! Thanks for your support! Arms

Yes, you may! I'll try to get it done as soon as I can (and I can't wait to read it because I saw it was an HP fic and I live for those)!

I definitely think comparing your writing to others is part of the problem. I deal with that same issue. I'll read something amazing and just be mesmerized by the ability and talent that other writers have, and that'll make me look back at my own stuff and feel worse about it. But, I think it's also important to note that we are good writers, whether we think we're as good as others or not. There is always going to be someone else who thinks they can't live up to US. It's all circular.

A quote that has helped me countless times goes something like this: "yes your writing feels boring, or bad, over not exciting, but you've seen it countless times. Your readers are experiencing it for the first time." The actual quote is much better worded than that, but I can't find it. The sentiment in the same though - we're our harshest critic.

Speaking of critic/critique, I would love a "Team B Rocks" story comment! I'm going to recommend my main/biggest story, but don't feel like you have to read the entire thing! You definitely don't. I just love any and all feedback I get on the thing. It's The Trajectory of Planes. It needs a ton of work, and I'm currently working out the rewrite/fixes when I'm not busy with grad school, but I'm proud of the story! Even with its flaws. :)
