Oh for sure!! Even blitzing them into the batter could work I guess? Just to really get them grounded in there and ensure a smoother texture.
That's fair, I'm not the biggest cheesecake fan (I honestly think it's because of the cheese element because I like the texture) but I would love to see a recipe / rough outline as I'm super interested. I'll send you a message now!
@ prevail. Fruit is an awesome topping, as well, but I honestly forget that's an option sometimes, lol! If you put the fruit inside, make sure you dice them kind of small or else you'll have oddly textured mushy spots where the strawberries are.
I haven't made the tofu cheesecake in a while, but I do it vegan style. Honestly, you don't really need a recipe for it, but starting out to learn the measurements is good. No cashews, actually, but if you wanted, I'm sure you can implement it. I think I used a vegan cream cheese, because my mom can't do dairy. I was gonna try and refer you a link for the recipe, but I can't find one close enough to the one I made. It's a no bake recipe, too. If you'd like, message me and I'll send you what I remember from the recipe and how to make it.
Honestly I'd say definitely transfer and try at the other store but if all else fails, go to whoever's above the manager.
Ahaha yeah. It's like close to 12 hours between each trip. Thankfully I only have one more trip back to Maryland then I'll be done getting all of my things.
Oh my god that sounds delicious. I assumed that you put them on top (maybe with some maple syrup ) but in the batter is even better! I need to try that!
Tofu cheesecake?? How does that work? Do you mix it with cashews?
Good plan. I'm a vegetarian myself because meat makes me feel ill. In a pinch if there's no other option and I'm absolutely starving I'll eat meat just so I've eaten something but I always feel physically sick after.
@ prevail. I looove pancakes! I used blueberries and strawberries (kind of basic), and just chopped them up a bit, then put them in the batter. Next time I'm thinking of trying something with them blended.
I've mostly had tofu as a salty food, but I've actually made a tofu cheesecake--vegan style! and it was soooooo good! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
I'm a vegetarian. I have had times where I've tried meat (mostly chicken) just because I'm wondering if I want to eat it, and it never works out, so no meat is what I continue to do.
I still eat cheese and ice cream, but I'm trying to eat lesscheese.
@ qblinux Hi Q! I'm HOPING to be promoted. The company I work for has this thing about letting everybody move up, so it's not too difficult to get a promotion. It's more so completing and being able to pass all the courses and exams. They don't take much, either. It's more so just understanding what you're doing.
I can cook, I just don't do it all the time, ya know? That is actually a really good idea, though! I should totally do that! Thank you!
PANCAKES YES what fruits did you get for them?? also tofu is super yummy. I like sweetened tofu myself but it gets such a bad rep and it's not fair tbh. are you a vegetarian / vegan? just because not many omnis I know willingly go out of their way to eat / prepare / cook tofu
