The hysteria around this is almost scarier than the virus itself. You can't find toilet paper around here anywhere, and the meat is basically sold out everywhere. It's crazy.

Dude, someone got stabbed over TP. My local walmart was rationing tp manually instead of just stocking it

They want everyone to quarentine but everyone is shopping to buy everything instead. They should make stores delivery and pick up only. Limit 2 on all high demand items and waive delivery fees. That way no one can buy out full stocks, theres no need for police to guard TP and water (true story here because people were literally rioting for it) and it limits exposure.

We had to grab a few small single packs of baby wipes because people were buying them out to use as toilet paper. My husband was questioning if we needed to really go out, but honestly, if we hadn't we would've run out of everything.

It's so upsetting. I had to go today because we were out of food and cried in the middle of Walmart because there was like no food. No rice. No beans. No soups. No water. No bread. I managed to find a can of refried beans and some tortillas so I thankfully made dinner for my kids. I called my btother, who is a manager for a Wal-Mart, and cried on the phone to him. Hes been slowly buying food this week so had somw stuff to give us and then we went shopping together and found a few more things.
My only anxiety in this situation is the fact that children and babies are going to have to go without. Its terrifying. I am so glad you found stuff for your baby.

I use Lulu for self-publishing, I think they're really good.

As for the mayhem, it's the same here, we had to run out to stock up on baby supplies because our infant was running low and the stores were out. We were lucky and managed to stock up on 2wks worth of food for ourselves and our son, and that we had toilet paper stocked up from before the mayhem started since we're lazy and dont like to go outside.
