people are generally turning their on MCR because they've changed and become something new. which is really stupid really, becuase if people didn't change we'd still be stuck in caves and hunting down our own food with home made spears and clubs or something. MCR have evolved into something new and some people don't like what they're doing now. but everyone's allowed to change. i mean, i used to be some fat loner girl with no where to fit in, MCR came along, and *poof* i had soem where to fit in, i was happier, i got friends, i'm more comfortabel with myself. everyone should be allowed to change, it's just stupid.
and then there are people that dislike how gerard has changed or something, how he's no longer the chubby nerd that was an alcoholic, insecure and did drugs or something. people don't like how he touches himself and stuff on stage, personally i just think he's gotten more comfortable with himself to do things like that, he's lost weight and all that and got married, maybe his self confidence grew or something? it's his life, he can run it anyway he wants, he doesn't stop you and you shouldn't try to stop him...

and i'm going to stop now, sorry it turned into a rant... (it wasn't aimed at one person, it was just me.... drifting away from the point)

Gerard didnt save my life, but the music the band writes keeps me happy and sane and has the power to cheer me up.

That's great stuff, but Gerard was never my hero.
To me he's just a singer in one of my favourite bands. MCR have never saved my life, so I have no reason to say that he is my hero.
But that's just me.
I do agree that people need to stop hating him just cause he got married and people started malicious rumours about him being on drugs again... which were proved untrue
