I hated them because they were super popular and everyone else loved them. I avoided them completely until someone told me about the band's love of comics. And, well, I'm a comic-geek (I'll admit it), so I couldn't resist checking them out after that. I watched 'I'm Not Okay' on youtube and was just like, "dammit, they're good..."

There's no such thing as a "true" fan anyways of bands. You like them or you don't like them, you don't need to abide by rules to be a fan of a band. Like those stupid 10 commandment things that 1 in every 3 mibba user has on their profile. Or "You're a true fan if..." things. Stupid pointless shit those things are.

Yeah, Kill-_-City is right about the album. They're due. One album every two years!

It's a very bad album in YOUR ears, but not in mine or any other TRUE fan. I love the Black Parade, but I love Revenge more.

If you milk a big album like TBP, it's just gonna get old even faster. Besides, there's gonna be a new album next year.

I'm sorry but saying someone can't be a fan of MCR because they only recently (well its been a year now but w/e) got into them is just ridiculous. It's great that you knew about them back around Bullets, but clearly, with their not-so-world-wide fame at the time, not everyone was gonna hear about it.

But I wouldn't consider myself less of a fan just because, in 2004 I was more interested in Prince and Michael Jackson.

Hey, its not my fault the guys put out a very bad album. Its actually decent when you hear it for the very first time, but considering they haven't put out any new songs/videos from the album, the CD is just going to waste.

Obviously love.kills is a bitter purist that should lighten up.

If you were a TRUE fan, you would stay with them through thick and thin, good times and bad, good MUSIC and bad. I didn't think a My Chem fan could be this mean.
