Straight Edge - Comments

I'm sXe. I'm fairly hardcore about it, I guess, I only let myself have a certain amount of caffine a day, in addition to no drugs, drinking, sex, etc.

I think that I am entitled to call myself sXe, because I've been offered drugs. I think that's the line of whether you're 'old enough'.

Yep I'm straight edge. I'm not a hardcore straight edger, I mean, I don't drink alcohol, I don't smoke, I don't abuse illegal and harmful drugs, but I do drink coca cola... so I'm a straight edge caffeine and sugar addict.
And caffeine's not completely harmful... I drink it in moderation... like 1 can per day...

Some people like to fight with me about it, but whatever. They're just potheads anyways. Hah.

But what I find stupid is, I have a friend that drinks and does drugs, and all the sudden she's saying shes straight edge. Like wtf? Okayyy. I wanna smack her.

I'm not but I think it's cool that people are. I'm not completely immoral. I just like to drink every now and then... and... the marijuana is just a given. Lifestyle choices are personal, though.

I just don't like it when straight edge people try to "convert" people like myself. That is when it gets annoying.

I respect everyone's choices though. =]

I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. People basically respect me for it.

Caffeine is fine as long as it doesn't become an addiction. I'm quite partial to my masala chai lattes. =)

yeah see...I'm not in any sports and i don't have any sports that I do.
so I don't really need them. But I can see why you would want it for that. and all day activities.

yeah i believe caffiene is fine in moderation..like I only have energy drinks before I go to shows/all day music festivals/snowboarding/anything that requires a lot of energy.

well I don't really have a problem with caffeine. Energy drinks are fine...i just don't drink them because their bad for people. and i don't really need energy anyway.
but caffeine is fine. I still take medicine too.
some people won't even take it because of the alcohol that's in it. But that doesn't really bother me.

I would say I am, but I think I am too young to get into that kind of stuff anyway. But when I get older I don't think I'll be like that because
a) My grandfather died because he smoked.
b) People get ugly and cruel when they drink
c)Drugs turn you into someone your not
e)I was raised in a Christian home so I couldn't bring myself to have sex before marriage.
