I second the Twilight reccomendation- cliche or not, they're great reads. Easy ones too.
Out of the ones I've read, the only one I disagree with is The Giver. I loathed it. Dunno why. Actually, the only Lois Lowry book I like is Number The Stars. GREAT book, if you've got the chance :]
