yeah all of my cousins on my mom's side get brand new audis for their sweet sixteens...except for me, the unfortunate one who doesn't have the same grandfather they do (its the grandfather on the other side thats not related to me D:)....so i have to save up like thousands for a used crapcar while they get to go around in their not earned audis

Yeah cars are expensive. Mine was around $15,000, and I put down $4,000 out of my own pocket, and another $4,500 from trading in my old car, and I still have a long ways to go to pay it off. (But I also went for the lowest possible monthly payment too, which reminds me that I gotta mail my car payment soon)

That's kinda odd your school doesn't offer DE. At my high school, we had to take a semester of it (About 4-5 months) which included the instruction, simulation, BTW, and all that stuff.

I agree with the person below too with the The whole her family not being able to afford her permit but getting her a car thing is a little sketchy to me. =/

At my school you have to pay 180 bucks to take Behind The Wheel and it cost like. . . 20 bucks to get your permit if I'm not mistaken. I know my parents had to do some sort of thing with buying something when I got mine. But, our school offers Drivers Education. Like Spaztasic said. At my school it's mandatory to take DE for 4 weeks and then take BTW.
