So comments don't count as post counts? - Comments

It IS very low to only comment so your post count will go up.
I definitely know what the frustration feels like.

I don't even mind, tbh.
it kinda stops all the, 'omfg, tis ez so grate' comments.
Granted, I recieved half the comments I usually do, but, it was really for the better.
These comments were meaningful, because at least I know they're commenting for the story rather than the post number.
It's more a 'think of the glass as half-full' kind of situation.
Especially since soon they won't even have that to comaplain or whine or brag about.

kinda is a popularity thing and kinda isn't... I have never been a forum poster as such (Had the newbie 'oh wow, whats this?' thing but no more than that) Popularity like read my story and tell your friends but to me that showed if my writing could hook and keep people rather than to say how many readers I had... some... maybe... dunno...
All I know is one of my stories went from 20 comments a chapter to 6 and the reason given was the post count... and thats sad

The new Mibba won't have visible post counts. So really, it doesn't matter.
We'll have something far better and a lot more fair. (:

it's not going to stop people. if they want to comment, they'll comment. simple as that. it's not all "LOL I HAS MOAR POSTS I R BETTURRR" if you ask me.

if people stop commenting because their post counts don't go up, they're stupid. simple as.
