I don't think someone should commit suicide. I know that I myself wouldn't want a loved one to kill themselves.

furthermore, suicidal thoughts/tendencies/actions never go away. I think about it EVERYDAY of my life. If you say you've ben through it but can't possibly see someone elses suffering then sorry but in most cases you were being irrational, childish, and never truly had a grasp on how low that point is. (Sorry to place judgement. I don't mean to thats just how I feel.)

I agree. and to those who argue about their friends and family's suffering. What if you truly are a more severe burden to them now? What if it would be easier for them too if you just died? Wouldn't living be selfish?

I've chosen the 'selfish' way (meaning suicide) before although i've stopped myself. But i will tell you right now i wil NEVER get that low again. I will kill myself before that happens.

Thats why everybody looks at me as psycho happy. I don't know how much or how little it will take for me to spiral down again and i'd rather not start on that path.

But I'm asking, how do you know theres REALLY anyone to leave behind?

Suicide is selfish. No matter how you look at it. It's wham-bam, you're dead. It's the people who are left behind who suffer.

Suicide is a permanent unnecessary soloution to a temporary problem.

There are people who are dying to live yet everyone is so quick to throw their lives away because of a bought of depression.

There is very little in life that is that terrible enough to warrant suicide.

It's not "talking shit", because I understand what it feels like to be so low that you just want a way out. But then I stop and think of the people who care about me. What it would feel like if my friend, sibling, parent, did that.

Suicide only hurts those that are left behind. And that is why it is selfish.

Why would they want to contiune their suffering just to make SELFISH people such as yourself happy? If they want to die, its their personal choice. Its pretty sad that there will always be people like you that want others to suffer just because you think something they WANT to do, is selfish, as if they didn't have enough problems already to get them in that situation.

I disagree. I think suicide is the most selfish thing anyone could possibly do. Honestly, it doesn't matter to me how depressed you're feeling or how much your life sucks, suicide is never the answer unless you're completely disregarding everyone but yourself. I will never have any respect or sympathy for anyone who kills themselves or even tries.
