Maybe there will be a group of people from our generation who will make a difference, but I don't think that any of those people will be from my own town. Sure, maybe the environment might become a bit cleaner and perhaps peace might last longer between wars, but there will still continue to be drug users and people who steal and commit crimes in everyday life. I suppose the best we can do is try to make the world better, and hope that the next generation after us will do the same as well.
There are labels because people need something to classify people. It sucks. The reason teens are so into the environment because it the 'in' thing to do right now. Peace and recycling. The fad will fade and the world will go back to what it was.
For things to really change people need to get pissed of first, that'll come soon when everyone is laid off and have more time to be piss off and creative.
that would be wonderful if our generation saved the world im thinking of joining greenpeace or something when i finish highschool wooh! one and a half years to go
good point. i think your right. i've noticed a lot of kids, specifically in high school, who get really into it. when i was in high school, there were concerned kids and kids who didn't care. that was 50/50. i think more kids care and are more diverse. i think kids from 2005 on are gonna be kids that make a huge difference.
