The worst thing you can do is a lead a person on (trust me, I know from experience). Break up with her gently, but pay her lots of attention as a friend and be very kind. Obviously she isn't ready for a breakup and will be crushed, so you need to be the best friend to her you can be for a while, at least until she can move on. But, above all else, don't lead her on. It may seem like you'll be hurting her badly by breaking up with her, but you'll hurt her so much worse by leading her on. I had a situation like this last year with a boy and everything worked out fine... I hope the same goes for you.

theres no point dragging the relationship on if you dont love her it will just cause more hurt in the long run, Just tell her that you still want to be friends and that you will always be there for her but that the relationship isnt working, explain that you dont want her to hurt herself because you care for her but you cnt stay with her if you dont love her like you used to because it will cause more hurt later.
I dunnnno if thats helpful or not but yea
Good luck * hugs and smiles*

Break up with her, but do it gently. Trust me, I'm in your girlfriends state. Don't break her heart, just say that you love her, but more as a sister than a girlfriend and that you still want to stay really close, just not intimately. Did that help.?

Don't stay with someone you don't want to be with to make them happy.
