Apology accepted, and it was nice of you to write one, since lots of people wouldn't.

However, I want to point out that I, among numerous other writers (many of whom are incredibly talented), I write "fanfiction" using the first and last names of people who exist in real life... but names aside, I feel that the characters I've created are wholly and completely my own. I think I'm safe in assuming that I'm not the only fanfiction writer who could easily use Find and Replace to change the names of the characters in my stories and make them completely original.

    So.

    I think I'm a real writer.

I also think that even if an author chooses to write about, for example, an entire band, and they include more than just the names in their work, usually the result is still a lot more imaginative than just a biography. When I was nine, I more or less plagiarized the Hardy Boys series to write my first finished story. It was about ten pages handwritten and ATROCIOUS. But I've improved a lot since then and I'm really glad I wrote it. [:

A writer who writes fanfiction at thirteen could end up being an amazing, published novelist.

Please read some fanfiction, since you're on mibba. And try to look at the content of the stories beyond whether the main characters are named Frank and Gerard.

It is kind of unfair to call Fan-Fiction writers "Not Real Writers." A lot of the fanfiction on this site uses quite a bit of imagination. Yeah, some of it really isn't great, but if you look around, you will find some. A lot of people put a lot of work into their. And, it takes just as much imagination to write fanfiction as original work.

And it was humble of you to apologize.

I don';t care what your opinion is on MCR, because not everyone likes MCR and I can respect that- despite what some other members say MCR fans aren't crazy and unfair and will shun people for just that. I am upset that you called fanfiction writers not real writers. Though it maybe your opinion, it is baseless and coming from left feild. Before you condem the genre and the writers involved with it, you should read a fanfiction written by someone with more talent than most original writers I know.

    But thank you for apologizing.

That is very kind and humble of you to apologize like this. :3
Even though I wasn't involved in the journal-entry you're apologizing for, I still just wanted to say that because not many people have the guts to say sorry.

    thank you for apologizing. ^__^

I understand you're entitled to your opinion, and it probably wouldn't have offended people if you'd said it less rudely.

But seriously, check out some of those writers. Because you're missing out on a ton of amazing stories. Seriously. carcinogenic. = one of the best writers I've ever seen, in print or online.

And I'm sorry for calling you an ass, it wasn't necessary for me to do that either.
