In my personal opinion I agree with you. It's alright on msn and txting wise but personally it really bugs me. Sometimes it makes it so difficult to even understand someone and you're sitting there going huh? It's alright in certain circumstances but for professional writing. A definite no.

Well I guess I'm hypocritical, I used to type like that, but only stuff like U and kool and stuff I neva typed lyk dis, so I guess that may be why I find it hard to understand.

I don't know but when it comes to just commenting on other peoples journals etc...
It doesn't bother me how they spell,
But when it comes to me reading their story,
    It bugs...

I don't type that way in my story,
So I'm not being a hypocrite or anything...

    But you've got a point...

It annoys the hell out of me when people type like that. It takes way longer to read, too. It's kind of saddening that people no longer have the willpower to move their effing fingers a little more to produce that refreshing clarity of correct spelling and grammar. Maybe this is hard for me to understand, though, because I've been a grammar freak all my life.

The only people who really type the way you're talking about
    are trolls.
    and bad ones.

    or elitists attempting chatspeak.

I've been typing correctly for quite a while now. Computer used to be my life, then my computer broke and I got over the addiction. But my typing speed has improved a lot, and it's actually harder for me to type Chatspeak than to type...normally. Definitly a good thing to type correctly. So much more welcoming to read.

I know, I was next to someone who types like that once and it took him twice as long to type the sentence because he was looking at the keyboard trying to put in every thing right, and he's a fast typer when typing normally. Argh I don't get it.

I agree, I want to jump out the window when I see somebody in the journals saying "OMGZZ, LI3KK MI $TOREHH GOT SUSP3ND3D!!!1" I mean, how can people type like that when that short sentence took me about half an hour to type?!

They do it on purpose because it's easier for them, I guess. :/
I'm sure a lot of them wouldn't write that way in an English class, save for Notes.

    Sometimesl, homophones are hard for people, and some people aren't that good at spelling. Chatspeak is something totally different, but still. o3o;

I won't bash you, though. It used to bug the Hell out of me. =P
