Why is it so hard?
Somehow, I'm having trouble with telling people I'm friends with, my family (=mom) and my boyfriend even that I write stories. I don't feel like I want to just go and tell them about it, but I don't want them to find out about it themselves, somehow. I never keep anything I write laying around, I always put it somewhere people will never find it.
I was wondering if other people have trouble with the same thing...
I guess I'm just afraid of what they would say about this hobby (which could one day be more than just that), or what they would say about the stories themselves. They could say something that would make me think too much and I could lose my enthusiasm in writing. That would suck.
Do you tell people you're a writer?
