Death of bin Laden

When I first heard of Osama bin Laden's death I was kinda shocked. Ten years on and the Americans finally got their wish. But at what cost?

Just to be clear before I go any further, I am by no means vindicating bin Laden's actions. It would be horrible of people to think that. But I don't understand why they murdered him. Personally i don't think any good can come from this. The backlash from Al- Qaeda is inevitable but what isn't is when they're going to express their distaste for this "assassination".

American forces have killed someone. bin Laden killed people. A human life is a human life and it should be treasured. They could have captured him and let him rot in jail forever but they took his life. Taking somebody's life isn't right. There had to be another option. Violence is not the answer.

I know Obama wanted justice for all those families that lost a family member due to the 9/11 bombings but how is what Obama did different to what bin Laden did? He ordered the death of another human being. It shouldn't happen.
