Okay, so I was walking around the mall with friends wearing my new Green Day t-shirt
It's dark-ish gray with Green Day in white with Billie Joe's silhouette on it
I got it as a gift
I was also wearing a Slipknot cap, got it as a gift as well
I had 2 GD shirts, 1 size S and 1 size M for future
I was wearing the S with jeans short shorts and black Converse
And so we were lining up to see Cat in Boots and people were staring at me
Then, one man had the nerve to come up to me and say
"Stop trying to get boys by saying you like rock"
Wat da actual fuq?!?!?!
And a group of hot guys suddenly turned and looked at my shirt and hat (I already hav a boyfriend, so yeah no staring for me)
I stared at the man in disbelief
Did he really just say rock is for boys?
I grew really angry at his comment
And this is what I said
"Hey, don't be so sexist. FYI, I'm not a fake. I love rock and the guitar in my house proves it"
Being the indignant senior he went on
"Taylor Swift, Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber"
"Brian Haner Sr, Slash, Synyster Gates, Billio Joe Armstrong, Led Zeppelin, Joan Jett"
He raised a brow before walking away
And the group of guys that were watching me smiled at me
One of them said
"Nice, you're cool"
And yeah
He goes to my music school for drums
I see him and now he says hi
So, any experiences like that?
