HOW DO PEOPLE MAKE MOIST CUPCAKES?!

Okay so, about a month ago, I said I could make 4 dozen cupcakes since a children's shelter is coming to my school on Valentine's Day.

My baking partner left to Arizona seeing as she had a family emergency so now I have to do all this by myself. Which I'm totally cool with. I AM NOT PANICKING.

I've made cupcakes and stuff before but they've never been moist, if anything a little dry. They didn't taste too bad though! DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT, MIBBA!!

So I headed to the store yesterday and bought boxes of Devil's Food Cupcake mix

Except it doesn't say "Moist Deluxe" :P

SO WHAT DO I DO TO MAKE IT MOIST AND FLUFFY?! Do I add something? Bake it a little less? WHAT?!

Following directions from the box is fine and all but it doesn't make it moist and fluffy. AND THIS IS FOR THE CHILDREN.
