Is Comment Swap dead?

I was just wondering whether anyone else has thought comment swap to be slightly 'dead' lately? I started doing a few comment swaps as I am trying to get my new story circulating around Mibba as I had been AWOL due to a a tough few months of college and finishing up classes forever and also thesis writing.

So anyways,I did my comment swaps and did what I was supposed to,read them, commented on them and either recommended or subscribed depending on whether or not I liked them. I love comment swap as it can bring me to really fantastic stories sometimes. However, now I am waiting for comments on my original story and from past experience,I have always received comments within the next few days of using comment swap but I have been waiting over a week, am due 6 comments on my story and have received nothing. Just wondering if anyone else has received the same problem? I don't mind waiting, I just feel that over a week is a bit long to be waiting.

So are the rumours true? Is Mibba and therefore comment swap dead?
