About a boy.

So there's this guy I really like... he's 15 (one year older than me) and he's in my class. We're good friends actually. He's really cute, loving, kind, he always listens when I have something to say, he like protects me from the guy in our school (that is really perverted and is trying to make me date him), ect.
As I sad it before: I really like him. More than a friend. He's actually everything I ever wanted from a guy. He's smart, funny, good-looking, great sense of humor, great taste in music, he cooks, he plays guitar and stuff like that.
I have never told him I liked him more than a friend. I'm afraid that if I tell him and he doesn't like me more than a friend I'll loose his great friendship.
I think one of my friends actually told him that I like him and he was like: O_O are you kidding?
And I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad ting.. =[
I'm really confused and I have no idea what to do.
This school year is actually the last year that we'll go to the same school... next year we won't see each other that often anymore....
It's like I wanna tell him that I like him, but I really don't see the point in telling him if we won't see each other anymore.

I don't know what to do... =[ But I'm really glad to let that off my chest. =]
