I'M GIDDY.

I'm always giddy when it comes to writing, honestly.

Aren't you?

When I start a story or think about one that I'm currently working on, I always have this one favourite scene. The thing is, I know that that scene won't happen until like the umpteenth chapter! It really irritates me, I swear. It always makes me want to rush my story and just get to that point, but I know that nothing good comes out of it.

I think, it's part anxiety and part excitement. I'm excited because I, as a reader, know that the scene would make me happy. But also, as a writer, I'm anxious that someone else might get to write it before I do and by the time I actually want to write it, I'd look like I'm stealing their idea.

I SOUND SELFISH I KNOW.

But, I mean, that's just how it is. I guess I should just try to suppress it. sigh

So here I am, grinding my teeth and resisting myself from writing that one scene and posting it online.

OK NOW BACK TO WRITING STUDYING FOR FINALS.
