mcr posotive?

i love my chemical romance, i'd have to say if i had to pick my favorite band...it would be them, no doubt. but lately I've been having a little problem with there music(well not so much me as my mother) when i put my cd in to play in the car she always has something to say like 'all they sing about is death, they're disgusting' and crap like 'they're encouraging you to kill yourself' and bs like that. and i know that it's the exact opposite of that, but im kinda having a hard time trying to explain that to her. and I've been trying to find maybe an article or something that explains that so i can show her, but no luck.
and i was wondering if anyone would like to help me out here, and possibly send me a link to an article or whatever. i just need help! i need to get her off my back,
so it is and would be very appreciated if someone helped.
