The Patchwork Marriage follows the story of Andi, unmarried until late in her thirties when she meets Ethan-- the handsome, intelligent father of two girls. However, from the start, Ethan's oldest daughter, Emily, won't take to Andi's kindness and attempts to win the girls' affection, refusing to accept a 'new mother'.
