There is a man everybody knows the name of, even if they think it's a myth, a legend, too incredible to be real. Everybody, too, knows some part of his story... although nobody has ever heard the full truth of it.
His name is Kvothe, and it is common knowledge that he's dead. Or, at least, everyone thinks he is. And who would go looking for a person that is more legend than man in a small, silent inn in a town in the middle of nowhere?
Although, maybe... someone knows where to find him. And just maybe, that someone is able to get him to tell his real story at long last.
