'Stolen Lives' is an autobographical book in which the author, Malika Oufkir talks about being adopted by the Moroccan King, King Muhammad V. As she lives the involuntary life of a princess, she is determined to find her real family and live with them. The king let's her leave the palace for two years in order for her to find her family. She finds that her family is in a prison after her father had been executed for attempting to over-throw the king. Her family was then put in prison after his death.
